Ema is the designer behind Itoishi. “Both my grandmothers were amazingly creative women, and I learned so much from them,” Ema says. “My mother taught me how to knit and purl when I was little. Many years later, I moved to another country and magically discovered that my hands didn’t forget, that they were hungry for more, and so I taught myself how to knit increasingly complex things. I’m still learning, and still on the move.” Ema currently resides in Poland. Designs are very nice indeed. I’m loving the Ao Socks. Patterns are available on Ravelry and Payhip.https://payhip.com/itoishi
