Aphaia is a 30-ish-year-old Geordie who has lived in Scotland for the last 10 years or so, and has no intention of leaving. Aphaia likes knitting, and started knitting again after many years as a friend showed off some pretty yarn. Pretty yarn turned into a scarf, then requests for more scarves. Three scarves later, and the knitting bug was back, which led on to Aphaia designing patterns.
