“My yarn loving journey first started in 1998,” says Connecticut dyer Lakisher at Sassy Black Yarns. “After joining the military, one of my many duty stations was in Seoul, Korea. I had the opportunity to tour a fabric mill and fell in love immediately. … I love making scarves and shawls, but I needed something more. I decided to give dyeing a try, and immediately fell in like/lust/love with it. A co-worker told me that I should turn my love of yarn into a business, because I would be the perfect one to put extra sass in it.” I especially appreciate how crisp Lakisher’s colorways are. Look at the Lemon Drop below, to see what I mean: bright white and bright lemony yellow.https://www.sassyblackyarns.com
