After a bleak period in her life, Tracy of Purl Alpaca Designs bought three alpacas in 2007. Tracy’s not sure why, just love at first sight and a good idea at the time! Today, after a career has an actor, recruiter and candle factory proprietor, Tracy keeps the alpacas and doubles as yarn producer and knit designer.
