Wonder Twin Fibrearts is the culmination of two slightly obsessed fibre fanatics, each with their own unique “super powers.” “Between the two of us we have 7 kids, 2 spouses, a dog, a cat and a hamster … our own Justice League, if you will,” Chelsea says. “We collaborate and build on ideas together, just like our namesakes. We create unique project bags and notions for makers.”
Amanda Kaffka of Vancouver is the force behind The Crafty Jackalope. Amanda learned to knit on arbutus twigs when she was six and hasn’t looked up since. She has been caught knitting at traffic lights, cafés and beaches, but her backyard is her favorite place to knit alongside her husband and Kitty.
Caitlin and Sarina of Over the Moon Yarn produce colorways inspired by and named for elements of space and science fiction. Along with the usual hand-dyeing techniques, these space and sci-fi loving knitters also produce unique skeins dyed in pickle jars. Over the Moon also sells a line of space-theme stitch markers and other notions that are so cute.
