Echoview Fiber Mill

Echoview Fiber Mill is a spinning mill, knitting operation, and design house based in Weaverville, NC. It was founded by Julie Jensen, and was the first Gold LEED fiber mill in the United States. Yarns use natural dyes (I’m obsessed with the shades in the Lapidary series), and part of the fiber comes from their own sheep, goats and alpacas. Lots of cool stuff here, including a yearly “mill membership” that gets you behind the scenes bargains and one-offs. There’s also an interesting cotton that is woven on a vintage shoelace machine, and a line of yarns that incorporates scrap (“yarn barf”) from other mills.
